English frames
- ✓ Joe traded 0.2 BTC for 0.99 ETH on Meta.
- ✓ Joe traded 0.99 ETH for 0.2 BTC on Meta.
The two sentences are not synonyms: one gives BTC and gets ETH; the other is the reverse. Inversion is licensed by the same head. English has no productive double object (*trade Kim 0.2 BTC 0.99 ETH is the shape the entry rules out).
