Four places · зачислять / зачислить · amount accusative · account under на · working, revisable

Voice[Allocator] + Amount (accusative что) + Account (на + the account phrase) + Consideration / Source (unprinted)

Working analysis. The financial sense is sense 2 of зачислить, perfective, imperfective зачислять. Ozhegov’s government is что, gloss записать на чей-н. счет, example З. на текущий счет сто рублей. The Большой толковый словарь, as Gramota prints it, glosses the same sense записать на чей-л. счёт, принять на какой-л. счёт and prints З. деньги на лицевой счёт. Ushakov’s second frame is что на что, and the line is Зачислено на ваш текущий счет 53 р. The amount is the accusative. The account is under на. The person, where a dictionary names one, is inside that account phrase (чей-н., чей-л., ваш). No line opened here prints the person as the direct object, and none prints a dative person beside the amount.

English creditFIN has two clothes. Credit Y to X puts the amount in the object and the account under to. Credit X with Y puts the account, or the customer, in the object and the amount under with. The Russian frame matches the first only in putting the amount in the object. It does not match the second. Credit the customer with $50 has no direct Russian match in the entries opened here: the customer is not the object of зачислить.

The person is not the object of the financial sense. Ozhegov’s sense 2 and the Большой толковый словарь’s bookkeeping sense take что. That что is the sum or the sum named as деньги or прибыль. The gloss puts the beneficiary in на чей-н. счет and на чей-л. счёт. Ushakov prints на ваш текущий счет. ваш is the possessor of the account. A paraphrase на счёт кого-л. is not a line in these entries. A dative person beside the amount is not in them either, and this page does not rank one.

счёт is inanimate and masculine, so the nominative and the accusative do not spell different endings. The printed phrases are на текущий счет and на лицевой счёт. They are not the prepositional на текущем счёте. Working analysis: на holds the account as the goal of the writing. The preposition’s case is not a second object of the verb.

Wiktionary’s financial sense is the gloss записать на чей-либо счёт, причислить к чьему-нибудь счёту (деньги), with no example. Multitran’s headword glosses include credit and put to account beside the enrolment glosses. The phrase table on that page is not quoted here.

Enrolment · out of scope

зачислить has a separate sense, and it is not this page. Ozhegov’s sense 1 is кого (что), включить в число кого-чего-н., назначить кем-н., with З. на службу and З. в секретари. The Большой толковый словарь prints З. на службу, З. техником, З. на завод с сентября, and З. на довольствие. Ushakov prints Зачислить в студенты, Зачислить на службу, and Зачислить в штат. Gramota’s Розенталь entry gives the government кем / в кого, with Зачислить секретарём and a Tolstoy line зачислил в казаки. The person is кого. The group is в or на, or an instrumental predicate. в институт is not in these entries. Ozhegov’s separate verb зачислиться is the same enrolment reading: включиться в число кого-чего-н., З. в сотрудники, З. в штат.

Neighbours

кредитовать is the false friend of English credit. Ozhegov: сов. и несов., кого (что). Предоставить (-влять) кредиты кому-н. К. строительство. The кому-н. is inside that definition. It is not a dative in the example, and the example’s object is строительство. Ushakov: кого-что чем, Банк кредитует поставщиков, Кредитовать кого-нибудь большой суммой. The person is the object and the sum is instrumental. The Большой толковый словарь prints Кредитовать определённой суммой and Кредитовать сельских арендаторов for the loan sense, and К. строительство, К. развитие отрасли, К. проект for the finance sense. Gramota’s search line adds the passive Наш проект кредитуется коммерческим банком. Wiktionary files only the loan sense, предоставлять деньги на определённый период, with no example and no счёт. English credit someone with a sum therefore meets a lending frame, not зачислить.

The bookkeeping reading кредитовать счёт is not in Ozhegov, the Большой толковый словарь, or Wiktionary. The 1926 Справочный коммерческий словарь, as slooovo prints it, has three lines: to extend credit; записать сумму в кредит счета; and кредитовать счет такого-то лица, glossed as writing into the account the sum due to a creditor or received from a debtor. Working analysis: that specialist sense takes the account as its object. It is not the frame of зачислить, and it is not a second page.

перечислять / перечислить is the transfer neighbour. Ozhegov’s sense 3 is что. Перевести, зачислив на другой счет. П. деньги на текущий счет. The Большой толковый словарь’s sense 3 is записать, перевести на счёт другого лица, учреждения, with Перечислить деньги на текущий счёт, Перечислить деньги в благотворительный фонд, Перечислить зарплату на сберкнижку, and Перечислить пенсию на другой адрес, по другому адресу. The printed financial frame is an accusative amount and a destination under на or в. A source с + genitive is not in these entries. Senses 1 and 2, naming a list and moving a person into another category (П. в резерв, Перечислить солдата в другую роту), are out of scope, as enrolment is. Wiktionary’s article for перечислить does not print a financial definition, so it is not cited for this frame.

Aspect

Ozhegov pairs perfective зачислить with imperfective зачислять, and perfective перечислить with imperfective перечислять. The Большой толковый словарь labels зачислить and перечислить perfective and names зачислять as the imperfective. Ozhegov and Ushakov label кредитовать сов. и несов. Wiktionary files кредитовать as imperfective and lists прокредитовать as a related verb. Gramota’s paradigm header for кредитовать says imperfective. These are the dictionaries’ aspect labels. They are not a claim about an endpoint.

Passive

The printed agentless financial form is Ushakov’s Зачислено на ваш текущий счет 53 р. The participle is the neuter short form. No bank is named. The account stays under на. The sum stays in the line. The Большой толковый словарь prints Зачисляться, -яется; страд. as the imperfective passive label and does not put a money sentence beside it. Ozhegov’s зачислиться is the enrolment entry, З. в сотрудники and З. в штат, not a financial reflexive. A sentence such as средства зачислились is not in the entries opened here. A long plural деньги зачислены на счёт is not those entries either. The line they print is the neuter short form.

Russian prints the first geometry’s object, the amount, and puts the account under на rather than under to. It does not print the second geometry. The customer is not the object. Polish zapisać also keeps the amount as the object and the account under na. Bulgarian записа keeps the amount as the object and the account under по. German gutschreiben is the other sibling. None of those pages is a Russian dative.
